Total E&P Uganda is an upstream affiliate of Total Group which is leading the development activities towards production in the Tilenga project area - Exploration Area 1 (EA-1) and Exploration Area 2 North (EA-2N) within the Albertine Region. Total is a global integrated energy producer and provider and a leading international oil and gas company.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

In partnership with Total E&P Uganda, The Assessment and Skilling Center is admitting residents & those who studied at institutions in Albertine region & in districts along the oil and gas pipeline to the Total E&P Welder Training & Certification Programme. This programme was designed to respond to the industry’s needs through improved employability of craftsmen and craftswomen in the Albertine region and districts along the Oil and Gas Pipeline in the Oil and Gas sector and related industries as coded welders through targeted training towards international certification.

  • TRAINING LOCATION: Buliisa and Lwengo
  • FUNDING: The courses are fully funded by Total E&P Uganda
  • WELFARE: Accommodation & meals during training will be provided.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Young men & women aged 25 to 35 years from the districts of Nwoya, Masindi, Nebbi, Buliisa, Hoima, Kakumiro, Kyankwanzi, Mubende, Gomba, Sembabule, Lwengo and Rakai.

 

  • Instructors from Vocational Training Institutions (VTIs) in the Albertine region and districts along the Oil and Gas pipeline with a minimum of five years industry experience in welding and metal fabrication.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants can directly download application forms, fill them & submit by email to admissions@tasc.co.ug. You can also physically visit The Assessment and Skilling Centre (TASC) or Q-Sourcing Servtec (QSS) Kampala to pick hard copies of application forms, fill and submit the completed application forms physically.

Applications can also be picked up at the selected Local Government district offices;

  • An application letter
  • Original / Certified copies of relevant certificates
  • LC1 letter stating the district of origin and town of residence
  • National ID / Passport details page
  • 2 clear colored passport size photographs
  • Applicants will be required to fill an application form
  • Proof of at least 2 years’ experience in Welding & Metal Fabrication
